Vault Power’s first Harley Davidson offering is now available! The Li-HD28 is built with high quality components and features LiFePO4 lithium chemistry. The Vault Power Li-HD28 provides superior safety with an onboard BMS (battery management system) that disconnects the battery internally once outside the preset parameters. The Li-HD28 was designed with the factory Harley Davidson battery location in mind. Not only will the Li-HD28 fit without issue, the top mounted terminals allow for easy drop-and-go installation. Every Li-HD28 is packaged with a smart charger.
BMS Safety Parameters
If the on board BMS for the Li-HD28 detects voltage below 10 volts or over 15.2, the BMS will disconnect internally to protect the battery. The overcharge voltage parameter is set beyond the charging rate of motorcycles and utility vehicles. The discharge voltage of 10 volts is well below normal operation of the motorcycle or utility vehicle. If your battery disconnects due to overcharge or over discharge, it will remain disconnected until voltage is applied from an outside source. Once powered back on, your BMS and battery will function just as new.
